Marketing Education and Training, a Lincolnshire study centre based in the village of Timberland has been awarded an Accredited Centre plaque by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM)) at a recent ceremony, in recognition of the high standards of marketing education and training it provides.

The College, which offers the Institute’s Certificate in Marketing, Diploma  in Marketing and Post-graduate Diploma in Marketing, has been assessed by CIM using criteria including exam results, education delivery methods, student feedback and relationships with employers.

Karen Beamish of the CIM Education Division presented the plaque to Victoria Miller at a special ceremony at the CIM’s Headquarters at Cookham in Berkshire.

In order to maintain its accredited status, the college will be subject to a three yearly re-accreditation process which will include annual audit visits.

‘Marketing is increasingly being recognised as a professional business discipline and it is crucial that marketing education and training is of the highest quality. This plaque is a symbol of quality for showing that it meets the highest standards set by CIM for course delivery.’

David Sagar, CIM Director of Education

'I am delighted and proud to have been awarded CIM accredited status so that my students can be sure that the standards offered by such a small study centre can match those of much larger centres. In fact in terms of personal service and flexibility in meeting student’s needs Marketing Education & Training is second to none'.
